The Jefferson City Council will meet tomorrow night.

The meeting will begin with a public hearing to review the wastewater treatment facility project and an application for the state revolving loan fund. They will also consider approving the second reading to amend an ordinance to rezone property on West Lincoln Way from residential single-family to residential multi-family and a third and final reading to amend another ordinance for the City’s voting precincts. 

Additionally, the Council will consider a resolution for the five-year capital improvement plan for the airport improvement project, as required by the Federal Aviation Administration; an economic development agreement with the Jefferson Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #9599 for the VFW Hall, a change order for the alley improvement project, along with the final pay estimate and certificate of completion of the project. They will also consider approving the city’s health insurance plan for the 2022 calendar year, an appointment to the fire department, a resolution for a plat of survey for property at 806 West Lincoln Way and setting a public hearing for the sale of the property. Finally, the Council will also set two other public hearings to sell three other properties, including 407 West Lincoln Way, as well as 105 and 107 South Olive Street. 

The meeting will begin at 5:30pm at the City Hall Council Chambers.
