Dallas Center – Grimes wrestling continues their tough stretch on Saturday when they participate in a tournament against multiple schools at Waukee Northwest High School.

Some of the schools that are projected to be in the event include Ballard, Des Moines East, Des Moines Roosevelt, Johnston, Perry, Urbandale, and Waukee Northwest. It will be a mix of 2A and 3A schools and will include a few state ranked wrestlers at multiple weight levels.

Mustang wrestling was originally slated to have a meet today at Grinnell, but that has been postponed to a later date. This will be the last meet currently on their 2021 portion of their schedule. Mustang wrestling will be hoping to have a couple of wrestlers towards the top in their weight divisions, and hope that they will be in good shape in the team standings as well.

The tournament is projected to begin on Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m.
