A fun event is coming up this weekend in Dallas County, and there is still time to register to participate. 

The Dallas County Conservation Board will be hosting the Christmas Bird Count this Saturday at various locations throughout the county. The event aims to see which birds are in the area which then gets sent out to see what the long-term health of bird populations looks like. 

The event will divide participants into groups and are paired with an experienced birder.
