9:55am: A deputy and the Grand Junction Fire Department responded to ditch fire on 170th Street and W Avenue.

12:15pm: The Jefferson Fire Department, a deputy, Jefferson Police Department, and Greene County Ambulance responded to a house fire in the 100 block of N Avenue.

1:40pm: A deputy investigated a suspicious person in the 200 block of South 6th Street, Grand Junction.

5:16pm: The sheriff and the Jefferson Fire Department responded to a electric pole fire in the 1600 block of J Avenue.

Saturday, December 18th

2:30pm: The Sheriff and deputies conducted search warrants at 862 I Avenue for suspected stolen grain.

7:55pm: A deputy investigated a car deer accident on U Avenue and 215th Street. Theresa Lawson 44 of Jefferson struck a deer with a 2018 Chevrolet Equinox. The estimated damage to the vehicle was around 1,500 dollars.

Sunday, December 19th

1:21am: A deputy assisted with cattle out in the 800 block of I Avenue.

1:06pm: A deputy investigated a domestic in the 1600 block of Newberry Avenue.

1:49pm: A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 400 block of Harding Street, Churdan.

2:55pm: A deputy investigated a single vehicle roll over accident on 140th Street and N Avenue. Jonthan Thede 20 of Churdan lost control of a 2004 Dodge Dakota. The Dakota was totaled in the accident.

3:34pm: A deputy investigated a criminal mischief complaint in the 600 block of Lincoln Street, Scranton.

9:06pm: A deputy arrested Carly Hubby 42 of Grand Junction for driving while barred on 18th Street in Grand Junction.

10:35pm: Carly Hubby 42 of Grand Junction was booked into the jail for driving while barred.

Monday, December 20th

1:45pm: A deputy assisted a motorist on 220th Street near L Avenue.

6:03pm: Carlos Sierra Rojas 25 of Des Moines was booked into the jail for an arrest warrant for operating while under the influence 2nd offense.

6:08pm: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on 220th Street near U Avenue.

9:36pm: A deputy was called to the jail for combative subject. Carlos Sierra Rojas 25 of Des Moines was being released from the jail and assault a deputy. Carlos Sierra Rojas was charged with assault on a person in a certain occupation.

10:09pm: Carlos Sierra Rojas 25 of Des Moines was booked into the jail for assault on persons in a certain occupation.

11:51pm: A deputy checked on a vehicle on Quaker Street and 250th Street.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants  are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
