For the Panorama Panthers girls and boys basketball teams Tuesday night’s game was the last game before they head off for Christmas break.

For the Panorama Panthers girls team they were looking to keep their unbeaten streak going alive before heading into Christmas break. The Panthers girl picked up a 65-24 win over the Woodward-Granger Hawks Tuesday night and head into the break with an overall record of 9-0 on the season.

Panthers girls basketball coach Kylee Boettcher says the Panthers girls are looking forward to the season continuing in 2022. Boettcher says Tuesday night’s game against the Hawks took the girls a little while to find their legs but they found their rhythm in the second quarter. Boettcher says a lot of the Panthers girls contributed on both ends of the court for another good team win.

For the Panthers boys team they were looking to pick up their fourth win on the season before heading into the break. Heading into halftime the Panorama Panthers boys had a 39-21 lead over the Hawks and during the second half the Panthers boys continued to pull away from the Hawks winning by a score of 62-44 and moved to 4-4 on the season heading into the break.

For the Panorama Panthers girls and boys basketball teams they will get to enjoy a break over the holiday season and will get back out onto the court on January 4th when they travel to Pleasantville High School in Pleasantville to take on the Trojans with the girls tipping off at 6 p.m. and the boys to begin at 7:30 p.m.
