The Dallas County Conservation Board has activities going on throughout most of next year, and there is a new way to stay updated. 

Outreach Coordinator Sarah Gilchrist explains how people can use a new way to receive information and updates on those activities. 

“A new thing that we are also offering right now is text updates for things that are a little bit more timely and urgent and just to really keep you in the know and up to date.”

Gilchrist tells Raccoon Valley Radio if you go to the Conservation Board website a box will appear to input your email address where you then can choose to receive your updates via text message. 

She says there are still the normal ways for people to interact with the Board including going to the website as well as signing up to receive the newsletter. To get connected with the Dallas County Conservation Board you can go here.
