ADM Tiger baseball was able to put together a stunning rally in the postseason for their 2021 season, as they were able to win three straight road games in route to their third straight trip to the state tournament in Iowa City.
The Tigers had a losing record in the regular season as they were only able to put up 9 wins, but were able to beat Clarke-Osceola, the 2nd ranked team in 3A Grinnell, and then Boone as they were able to get some big time pitching along with some offense that was able to put up 30 runs over that three game stretch.
They eventually bowed out in quarterfinal action against Marion 11-2 to finish 12-18 on the year, but the postseason run was remarkable for Jason Book’s club, as they were proud of the accomplishments they made throughout the year.
ADM baseball will be losing some big talent from that state team, as they will be looking to make it to a 4th straight state tournament trip in 2022.
