Public safety officials responded to a call for a residential structure fire in Dallas County early Friday morning.

According to the Stuart and Dexter Fire Department’s Facebook Pages they along with the Earlham and Redfield Fire Departments, Dallas County Sheriff’s Office and Dallas County EMS responded to the fire at approximately 8 a.m. Friday at 705 Polk Street in Dexter. 

According to the Dexter Fire Department, when crews arrived on scene flames could be seen coming from windows on both floors of the residence. All occupants were able to get out of the home safely. 

According to the Dallas County Assessor’s website the property is owned by Carolyn and Lee Ann Harris.
