The Greene County Board of Supervisors will meet today.
The meeting will start with election of board chair and vice chair. The Board will hold a public hearing at 9am and consider approval of the third and final required reading to amend an ordinance for county election precincts. They will also consider for approval the December 30th cash count, along with organizing the 2022 calendar year with establishing meeting dates and times, business hours for the Greene County Courthouse, county holidays, official newspapers, board assignments, county officer deputies and other full time appointments. Additionally, the Supervisors will hear additional 2023 fiscal year funding requests for Central Iowa Tourism, Greene County Early Learning Center and the Bell Tower Festival.
