Dallas Center – Grimes boys and girls basketball returned to the court on Tuesday night against the Eagles of Pella Christian, and both teams were able to grab victories, the girls 56-13, and the boys 62-40. DCG girls move to 7-3 and the boys move to 6-1.

In the girls game, the 13 points given up was a season low, as DCG was able to keep the Eagles at bay the entire night. They were able to lead 35-8 at halftime, as they were able to put together a well rounded performance in the win.

On the boys side, DCG was able to outscore the Eagles 28-9 in the fourth quarter to break open a close game. After an eight point halftime lead, and only a three point lead at the end of the  third quarter, DCG was able to execute great offensively while making big plays on the defensive end to grab a key conference victory.

For both DCG teams, they return to the comforts of home on Friday night when they welcome the Dutch of Pella to town, as they look for more wins.
