
A new clinic is now operational at Greene County Medical Center.
Dr. Keith Barnhill and Dr. Rich Jacobson with Heartland Anesthesia will be at Pain Clinic the first and third Wednesdays of the month. The new clinic will help those in a variety of ways with pain management including arthritis, pinched nerves, arm and shoulder pain, back and neck pain, pain after surgery, cancer pain, muscle pain, pain associated with osteoporosis and much more.
Dr. Barnhill earned his bachelor of science in nursing from California State University. Then his masters degree and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist certification from the US Army Program in Anesthesia Nursing with Texas Wesleyan University. He went on to receive his doctorate degree in nursing education from Capella University in Minnesota. Additionally, Dr. Barnhill has a certificate in pain management from the American Academy of Pain Management.
Dr. Jacobson has a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Iowa and a master’s degree from the US Army Program in Anesthesia Nursing with the University of Texas at Houston. He earned his doctorate degree in nursing practice from Northeastern University and spent the last ten years with Heartland Pain Management in Ankeny.
