It’s the second full week of winter sports action for WCV this week.

The action will start on Tuesday with the WCV wrestling team. The Wildcats are looking to put the last meet behind them. They struggled in a quad against Logan-Magnolia, Tri-Center, and Underwood. This week they’ll be in another quad this time the host school will be Southwest Valley. WCV will be against Underwood, AHSTW, and of course Southwest Valley. The meet will start at 5pm in Corning.

The girls basketball team will continue action as they try to get their first win of 2022. The girls team had two losses last week. However, they’re focused on their next opponent Ogden. They’ll be up against a winless Bulldog team, trying to get win number five in their 12th game of the season.

The boys basketball team is also looking for their first win of 2022. They lost a close game to Woodward-Granger on Friday. Now the Wildcats will have to try and get their third win of the season against 4-6 Ogden.
