A local Chamber Of Commerce adds signage in an effort to attract more business. 

Panora Chamber Vice President Kristin Rumelhart says they wanted to attract more customers from the Des Moines and Lake Panorama area. Rumelhart tells Raccoon Valley Radio installing new signage took cooperation from the local Panora businesses. 

“A few businesses stepped up, and sponsored the signs that you see at the corner of Highway four and Main Street.”

There are two signs which include one facing North on Highway 4 and the other facing South on Southeast 3rd Street when entering Main Street. These signs will navigate motorists with arrows pointing towards the business district, public library and Panorama School. Rumelhart also added these signs were made by a Panora resident.
