The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recently announced awards recognizing water fluoridation in Dallas County. 

The Water Fluoridation Quality awards are given by the CDC for water systems that achieved excellence in fluoridation in their drinking water throughout 2020. A total of 1,292 public water systems spanning 29 states received the awards. 

For Dallas County the Adel Municipal Water Works, Perry Municipal Water Works, Xenia Rural Water District-Woodward and Van Meter Municipal Water Works received recognition from the awards.
