Main Street Guthrie Center recently completed a survey to find potentially new businesses.
Director Dana Buster says they did a survey called “Business Prospects Survey,” and they received a good response. Buster describes what this survey was about.
“They look at what kind of businesses the people would like to see here in the downtown and kind of two categories like eating and drinking places and then also retail establishments.”
Buster says in the survey it showed over 40 percent of Guthrie Center residents wanted a coffee shop and hardware store. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio the next step is to get prospects and hopefully they can meet those needs.
