The Dallas County Conservation Board has upcoming events where people can get out and look at the stars.
The Stargazing and Winter Constellation Series with the Board will take place on January 24th, 26th and 27th at Kuehn Conservation Area. There are two time slots available, one from 6-7 p.m. and 7:30-8:30 p.m.
Those participating will get to join a naturalist to learn how to build and read a star chart, measure distances in the sky to help find and identify common constellations and share stories as well.
The programs will take place outdoors and may need to be rescheduled depending on the weather if there are cloudy skies.
