For one local group that looks to support organizations throughout the Dallas County area, their application period is still going. 

The Dallas County Foundation recently announced it is accepting grant applications until 5 p.m. February 1st. The current applications, instructions and evaluation form can be found here.

The Dallas County Foundation will consider grants that improve the lives of Dallas County residents with an emphasis on health and human services, arts and culture, youth development, education, recreation, environment and community betterment. 

Applicants must be a 501(c) 3, 5 or 6 organization or 107(b) unit of government or they can be affiliated with another organization with one of these designations.
