If you have a child who is soon-to-be kindergarten age, there will be an educational event with a local school this week in Perry.
St. Patrick’s Catholic School in Perry will be hosting a kindergarten information night from 5:30-6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Principal Kandice Patillo says it’s a good feeling to be able to hold the event in its normal setting rather than being altered due to the pandemic.
“We are looking forward to that evening offering our kids a chance to meet with a kindergarten teacher so she can get to know your children before they even enroll here and really understand what their needs are, who they are as a person even before they are in her room this fall for the first time.”
Patillo tells Raccoon Valley Radio there will also be plenty of other information for families including what the uniform is, what you will need for registration and tuition assistance options. Patillo says there is also a virtual option for people to attend.
“We will offer a virtual option. So, if parents aren’t able to attend or if something comes up and they want to kind of tune in for the parent information side of it we will offer that.”
Patillo says for those wanting to attend virtually they need to contact the school office so they can get the specific link. For more information you can go here.
