The monthly Farmers Coffee is coming up soon with Guthrie County ISU Extension.
The Guthrie County Extension And Outreach Office will host the event on February 3rd with ISU Extension Agronomist Mike Witt and ISU Farm Management Specialist Tim Christensen to talk about managing cost of production through agronomics. Witt explains further what will be discussed.
“How to make agronomic selections, but yet make sure that these selections that we look at fit into good economic practices is what we’ve got now with high fertilizer prices and other things along those lines. So it’s really going to be a good combination of a bunch of different things. As far as do we make hybrid or variety selections? And if we do, what do we do with traits?”
This free event will take place at the Extension Office in Guthrie Center from 9:30-11am next Thursday.
