The Panorama Panthers girls basketball team will play their second game of the week today when they travel to Exira to take on the Exira-Elk Horn-Kimballton Spartans.

The Panthers girls are coming off a quality win against the Martensdale-St. Mary’s Blue Devils by a score of 44-41. The Panthers will be taking on a Spartans squad today that comes into the game with an undefeated record so far this season.

Head Coach Kylee Boettcher says the matchup against the Spartans will feature a Spartans team that is well coached and disciplined. Boettcher says this is a tough week of basketball for the Panthers girls but it’s a week they have been looking forward to.

Also, for Senior Payton Beckman she will look to continue her pace to overtake her sister Bailey Beckman in points scored. Payton currently has 1,510 career points and her sister Bailey has the number one spot at 1,579 career points. Currently, Payton is averaging just north of 21 points a game.

The Panorama Panther girls basketball team will be heading on a road trip today when they head to Exira to take on the Spartans. The game will get started at 6 p.m. today as the Panthers girls look to get their seventeenth win on the season.
