The WCV wrestling team was back in action on Tuesday.

They competed in a triangular against Clarke and Bedford/Lenox. The Wildcats were coming into the is Triangular with a lot of momentum. They had a solid showing at the Rich Gray Wrestling Invitational this past weekend. They had multiple wrestlers finish in the top ten.

The Wildcats started off the night against Bedford/Lenox. This wasn’t quite the outcome the Wildcats wanted. They had five wrestlers pick up five wins but that just wasn’t enough. They would drop this one to Bedford/Lenox, 27-39. WCV didn’t dwell on the opening round loss. They shifted gears to battle Clarke. This time around the Wildcats managed to care of business and get the win 45-24.

The wrestlers will get some time off before hitting the mat again. WCV will be taking part in the Charger Invitational on Saturday.
