A Jefferson resident has stepped down from a leadership role with a non-profit organization.

Jeff Lamoureux resigned as Heart of Iowa Habitat for Humanity Executive Director on January 28th. He served as associate director for four years before taking over as executive director when Erich Kretzinger retired three years ago. Lamoureux helped expand the organization with Greene and Boone counties to include Guthrie County in 2015. He also helped to build two homes in Boone County, as well as over 15 Helping Hands repair projects in Greene and Guthrie counties during his tenure as executive director. Lamoureux accepted a position with Iowa Turfgrass Institute.

Lindsay Lynch is new Executive Director

The Habitat Affiliate Board appointed Associate Director Lindsay Lynch to executive director. She has been the associate director since 2019. The Board is excited for the opportunity to work with Lynch and assess their practices and develop a vision for the future.
