The City of Perry is beginning a project today that will last for several weeks.
The City announced that International Society of Arboriculture certified arborists from Davey Resource Group are beginning their inventory and assessment of city-owned trees on public streets and parks today.
The project is expected to last three weeks and is an effort to help the City manage trees, minimize the effects of future storm damage and help to make sure the City has a healthy and sustainable urban forest.
All arborists who are conducting the inventory work will be identifiable by hardhats and safety vests.
For any questions or concerns you can contact Perry City Hall at 515-465-2481.
