3:37am: Officers began a Sexual Assault Investigation, which had occurred in Jefferson.

8:45am: Valarie Martin reported a Stray Dog in the 700 Block of West South Street. The officer did not locate the reported animal.

9:01am: ER requested an Escort for a patient leaving the facility. The officer provided the Escort.

9:11am: Jordan Ward reported an Unwanted Male at 407 North Wilson Ave. The subject had left the area before the officer arrived.

11:08am: Officers assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 100 Block of Ram Drive.

3:06pm: The Greene County High School requested an officer at 1901 North Grimmell Road, after locating a student with alcohol. The officer is investigating.

3:38pm: A Traffic Stop in the 1300 Block of North Grimmell Road resulted in Kenton Higgins of Grand Junction being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”

3:47pm: An officer assisted a motorist with Mechanical Issues near Grimmell and Adams Streets.

5:22pm: ER requested an officer at 1000 West Lincoln Way Street for an Unruly Patient.

8:22pm: A Traffic Stop at Elm and Clark Streets resulted in Haylee Duckett of Jefferson being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”

9:02pm: A Welfare Check was requested on a Jefferson resident. The offices did not locate the subject.

10:04pm: Officers were advised of a possible Violation of a No Contact Order at 508 North Elm Street. The officers could not prove a violation had occurred and warned the subject.

10:57pm: Rebecca Chumbley requested Extra Patrol near 407 North Wilson Ave.

******* An officer has requested an Arrest Warrant for William Wesley Bingle, 55 of Jefferson for, “Theft 5th Degree – Simple.” The charge stems from a shoplifting event at HyVee on 01/29/2022.
