Panorama Panthers wrestlers are nearing the postseason as they prepare for sectionals that will be taking place this weekend in Ogden.

Panthers wrestlers will take part in sectionals beginning at noon on Saturday in Ogden. The Panthers will be in a field of teams that includes Baxter, Colfax-Mingo, Collins-Maxwell, Lynville-Sully, Ogden and Van Meter as they will be looking for strong performances to move on.

For Panthers wrestlers some of the standout performers of the season include sophomore Cayden Van Meer with a record of 31-12, senior Cooper Andersen with a record of 32-2 and senior James Hein with a record of 19-7,

The Panthers have also gotten strong performances from some of the underclassmen on the team including freshman Will Knapp with a record of 22-15, freshman Laine Christe with a record of 21-14 and freshman Landon Kirtley with a record of 23-19.

Panthers wrestlers will take the mats again for sectionals at noon on Saturday in Ogden as they will be looking for more strong performances to continue their postseason.
