The WCV boys basketball team was back at home to play rival AC/GC earlier this week.

The Wildcats were trying to end a five game losing streak against rival AC/GC. The Chargers were coming into this game on a roll. They continued their momentum into this game. WCV started out behind in a quarter dominated by the Chargers. AC/GC took a big 27-4 after the first. The domination would continue as the Chargers took a commanding 50-10 lead into halftime.

Offensively the Wildcats struggled all game long and couldn’t keep up with AC/GC. The Chargers would add 14 points in the third and 11 in the fourth. They would win this one, 75-32. This would give WCV their sixth straight loss.

WCV will be back in action tonight. It’ll be a home game against Pleasantville. Tipoff is set for 7:30pm in Stuart.
