
Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center basketball programs get both wins against Madrid, Tuesday on senior night in Guthrie Center.
The rematch between the boys AC/GC verses Madrid didn’t go down to the final seconds like the first game did. The Chargers took control from the start snapping Madrid’s seven game winning streak and the final score was 68-51. On senior night, Miles Kading tied the most points in a single game with 32 points and then Jedd Weinkoetz added 10 points. AC/GC finishes the regular season with a record of 17-4 and on a seven game winning streak.
The Lady Chargers break a three game losing streak by winning against Madrid with the final score of 45-28. Reagan Carney led all scorers with 11 points and Saige O’brien added 9 points. AC/GC girls team will finish the regular season with a record of 11-10.
