9:35am: Floyd Laxson 61 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for domestic abuse assault 1st offense.

9:46am: A deputy investigated a theft in the 1100 block of U Avenue.

3:44pm: A deputy assisted with cattle out on 170th Street near Terrace Avenue.

5:41pm: A deputy investigated an assault in the 400 block of East Paton Street, Paton.

10:25pm: Deividas Guinan 30 of Des Moines was booked into the jail for a probation

violation.

11:51pm: A deputy removed debris from the roadway on Eaton Avenue near 210th Street.

Tuesday, February 8th

8:15am: A deputy investigated a single vehicle accident on 220th Street near X Avenue. William Ayers 72 of Lake City lost control of his 2013 Honda Accord and went into the north ditch. The estimated damage to the vehicle was around 15,000 dollars. William was not injured in the accident.

8:35am: A deputy conducted a welfare check on 190th Street and N Avenue.

10:04am: A deputy investigated a careless driving complaint on 220th Street near X Avenue.

12:40pm: A deputy conducted a death notification in the 1200 block of Rushridge Drive, Jefferson

3:00pm: A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 700 block of School Street, Churdan.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
