February 7:
Officers responded to the 1400 block of Willis Ave on a report of criminal mischief.
Accident:
Unit 1 Silver 2009 Nissan Sentra registered to Rijchel Reed Steva and driven by Calli Jo Steva,
2222 Estella St., Perry.
Unit 2 Silver 2004 Buick Centra registered to and driven by Ernest Dean Faber, 22473 187th
Road, Minburn, Iowa.
Unit 1 was driving north on 12t Street and failed to Yield to unit 2 who was driving west on
Otley, Unit l’s front passenger side struck unit 2’s front drivers side door. Unit 2 then hit a
light pole in the center of the vehicle. Unit 1 then struck the street sign at 1210 & Otley,
knocking it down. Airbags deployed in both vehicles and a passenger in unit 2 was taken to the
hospital by Dallas County Ambulance. Total estimated damages $10,100.
Received a report of a theft from the 2100 block of Otley.
February 8:
Accident:
Unit 1 white 2014 delivery truck registered to E and R Delivery, 310 ggth St, West Des Moines.
Driven by Christopher Zlaty, 4100 Hubbell, Des Moines.
Unit 1 was backing into a delivery spot at the United States Post Office, 1420 2″d St, Perry and
struck the building.
Total estimated damages were $850.
Arrest: A 17 year old male was taken into custody in the 1800 block of W sth Street, and
charged with simple assault.
