There is an event coming up this weekend to keep Guthrie County residents healthy and active. 

The Iowa Department of Natural Resources is hosting an event called “Springbrook RX Hike,” to help people spend more time in nature and improve their mental and physical health. The Iowa DNR encourages folks to join them for a hike and disconnect from the world and connect with nature. 

This event is open to the public on Saturday from 1-2:30pm at the park below the dam in Springbrook State Park.
