An upcoming day in February will highlight the importance of libraries in local communities as well as services they can offer to  their patrons.

The Perry Library will be celebrating the National Take Your Child to the Library Day on Saturday, February 19th. Those participating can join in for the Saturday Storytime event from 10:15-11 a.m. in the Library Community Room. 

Also, those participating can register for a prize drawing and take home a treat bag. This day is to celebrate all that libraries have to offer to their community and to highlight getting a free library card that can help make reading an everyday habit for children.
