AC/GC had three wrestlers advance to districts from the IHSAA Sectional in Riverside Oakland last weekend.

Tegan Slaybaugh has a record of (36-9) on the season and was able to win his 113 weight division and move on, Gavin Sloss has a season record of (36-15 and win the 120 weight division and Dawson Muller has a record of (28-21) and places runner up and the qualified him to move on. Head Coach Lane Rummelhart tells Raccoon Valley Radio that districts is where is starts to get tough.

“Oh, super tough. I mean, you narrow it down, you’re down to 16 guys across the whole state. So I think we got about 15 teams total in our district. So I mean, you have the top two guy out of all those teams says a lot. Just qualify for the state tournament. I don’t think any of our guys want to just qualify. I think they got bigger goals than that.
