Greene County finished the boys’ basketball season with a 9-13 record including losses in their last five games. Coach Chris Nelson’s team averaged 56.6 points and allowed an average of 60.2. The Rams were fourth in the Heart of Iowa Activities Conference at 8-6.
Junior Richard Daugherty was the leading scorer at 15.9 points per game. Junior Jesse Miller was next at 11.8 and senior Bryce Stalder was third at 10.6. Senior Max Stalder missed nine games, mainly due to injury, and averaged nine points per contest. No one else averaged as many as five points. Miller led in rebound average per game at 6.8 with senior Jackson Morton at 5.2, Daugherty at 4.7, and Stalder at 4.2. Stalder was the leader in assists at 3/5 per contest. Morton led in blocked shots on the season with 13 and Miller had 11.
