The Panorama Panthers boys basketball team headed to Stuart Tuesday night to take on the Van Meter Bulldogs in the District 15 championship game.

The Panthers boys were originally slated to take on the Van Meter Bulldogs at Creston High School Tuesday night but due to inclement weather the game was moved to Stuart. The Panthers boys were facing off against the Bulldogs for the second time this season but fell short by a final score of 84-52. The Panthers boys fell behind early in the game against the Bulldogs as they headed into halftime with a score of 46-22.

The Panthers boys are capping off an impressive season which saw them finish the regular season with an overall record of 13-8 on the regular season and 15-9 overall with a new group of players on the court this year. The Panthers were able to pick up two victories in the postseason as well with a 66-49 victory over the West Central Valley Wildcats and a 59-47 victory over the AC/GC Chargers before being knocked out of the postseason by the Van Meter Bulldogs.

This Panthers boys team has seven seniors including Jared Wasson, Brice Taylor, Jackson Peasley, Avery Norman, Skyler Poldberg, Josh VanWinkle and Austin Block who all played their last games with the Panorama Panthers boys basketball team in what was a winning season.
