The Panora City Council will meet Monday.

The Council will consider for approval to provide a notice of a hearing proposed plans, specifications, form of contact and estimate of cost for the Jackson Street Improvement Project and an amended contract for collection and transportation of residential solid waste and recyclable materials including a six year contract extension and new rates.

The Council will also consider for approval fiscal year 2023 maximum property tax dollars, approving a set time and place for a public hearing regarding the proposed fiscal year 2022-23 budget, conveyance of real estate to Region XII Council of Governments and an ordinance related to collection of solid waste and fees. 

The Council will discuss garbage contact with R&S Waste, financial and rate recommendations by public financial management and bids regarding bids for the Jackson Street Project from Synder And Associates. 

The meeting will take place in the Council Chamber at 5:30pm on Monday.
