A reminder that tonight is an annual fundraiser for a livestock organization in Greene County.

The Greene County Cattlemen’s Association is hosting its banquet and trophy auction tonight at Clover Hall on the Greene County Fairgrounds in Jefferson. The event begins with a social hour at 6pm, followed by a ribeye steak dinner at 6:30 and will end with the live trophy auction. Proceeds from the trophy auction goes toward local projects and organizations in Greene County, as well as beef promotions. Last year, the annual fundraiser brought in $22,800 with 47 items. 

Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at the door.
