Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Tigers track and field teams will be participating in competition for the first time this upcoming week, with a pair of big meets for both of the teams. They will be participating in some meets in college campuses, with the girls to run on Monday at Northern Iowa and Thursday at Iowa State. The boys will be running at UNI on Tuesday and at Iowa State on Friday, as they will be seeing some excellent competition from all over the state of Iowa.

The boys as a team are coming off of a 2nd place finish as a team in 3A competition last year, and the girls had multiple state qualifiers that are coming back as well. Both teams have good numbers for participation this year, and both believe there is a lot of good talent in multiple events.

Both teams are hoping to get their season off on the right foot, as they look to string together some strong performances upcoming this week.
