A reminder that Greene County FFA is sending several students to the district FFA competition in Carroll today.
Chapter Advisor Raelyn Harris says Ag Broadcasting, Conduct of Meetings, Oxy Welding and Chapter Program advanced from the sub-district contest and includes 12 students.
Harris points out there will be a new contest that some Greene County FFA’ers are going to participate in with a recruitment category of Experience the Action.
“This is a really fun one for members to get involved in. We are doing a skit that has to do with a camping trip. And through that experience we are encouraging new members to join FFA.”
The district contest will take place Saturday at Carroll High School and those who advance will compete in Ames in April. See the full list below of the students and what categories they will be competing in at districts.
