12:19pm: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 400 Block of South Olive Street.

3:50pm: An officer investigated a Rear End Collision Accident in the 1900 Block of North Grimmell Road. A 2011 Chevy Traverse, owned by Michelle Fields and operated by Allison Fields of Jefferson, was stopped for traffic, heading north, on North Grimmell Road. A 2010 Nissan Sentra, owned by Lisa Owens and operated by McKade Owens of Scranton, pulled from the High School driveway and struck the stopped Fields vehicle. The Fields vehicle had a reported $2000.00 in damages. The Ownes vehicle suffered a reported $500.00 in damages. Owens was cited for, “Fail to Stop in Assured Clear Distance Ahead.”

9:42pm: Dispatch advised an officer of an Abandoned 911 Call that mapped in the 1100 Block of West Lincoln Way Street. The officer checked residences in the area and did not locate anyone needing assistance.

******* After receiving lab results on seized items from 708 West State Street on 01/10/2022, arrest have been made in the matter. Ted L. Semke, 44 , and Hope R. Malone, 42 both of Jefferson were charged with, “Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Offense/marijuana – Serious and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Simple.”
