While the weather isn’t quite perfect for a day out on the soccer field, Panorama Panthers soccer players are preparing for the season ahead of them that is coming up quickly.

The Panorama Panthers girls and boys soccer teams are preparing for their upcoming season which will officially begin on April 7th when the girls head out for a road game to take on East Sac County and the boys have a home game against East Sac County.

Looking back on last year’s season for the Panthers girls they had a successful one which saw them go 14-7 overall on the season and make it all the way to the Class 2A Region 2 Semifinal game where they fell to Glenwood 7-0.

The Panthers girls lost a few seniors from the team last year but should be returning multiple players from last year who played in double digit games throughout last season. The Panthers girls soccer team will look to utilize some of that experience out on the field this year.

The Panorama Panthers boys soccer team had a rough year last year where they finished with an overall record of 3-15 on the season and losing in the Class 1A Substate 7 first round to Van Meter. The Panthers boys will also look to be returning some players to the roster this year.

The first day of practice for the Panorama Panthers girls and boys soccer teams will be March 14th.
