
Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Tigers boys track and field had an indoor meet in Ames on Friday, and found some great results including winners as well.
The boys 4×100 team of Cade Morse, Brevin Doll, Owen Higgins, and Matt Dufoe were able to get a 1st place finish of 44.52 seconds. The boys 4×400 meter team was able to finish 3rd with a time of 3 minutes 35 seconds, the team consisting of Owen Higgins, Cade Morse, Gabe Heitz, and Brayden Rynearson. The boys distance medley finished 4th with a time of 3 minutes 50 seconds. Grant Englemen, Justin Holm, Cade Morse, and Clay Gustafson were on the team.
Doll was able to finish 4th in the 60 dash with a time of 7.21. Clay Gustafson was able to finish 5th in the boys 800, with a time of 2 minutes 6 seconds.
Overall the Tigers were able to finish in the top 8 in twelve different events. The Tigers will now have no competition this upcoming week due to Spring Break, but will hope to keep up with training throughout the week after a strong first week.
