A reminder that tonight is a fundraiser for a livestock organization in Greene County.

The Greene County Lamb Producers are hosting the annual banquet and auction fundraiser tonight at Clover Hall on the Greene County Fairgrounds. The evening begins with a meal of leg of lamb with sides provided by the Lidderdale Country Store at 6:30pm. Then the live auction and lamb livestock plaques will follow the meal.  

Proceeds from the annual fundraiser will help support local scholarships for graduating seniors, promotional grilling events, and the community lamb barn project, which allows youth who can’t afford to raise lamb to be shown at the county fair an opportunity to do so. 

Tickets are $15 and can be purchased by any of the Lamb Producer Board members, including Eldo Walker, Steve Karber, Bill Taggart, Chuck Hare, Jeremy Hoskins, Kevin Lentz, Brian Sandage and Randy Hedges, or at the door.
