
The Dallas County Board of Supervisors approved an architect master contract amendment at their regular meeting Tuesday.
The Board approved the amendment which updates the planning of projects where architectural services are provided for projects selected from the master plan. Also, the Board approved a Woodward EMS affiliation agreement which will assist by providing training, relief and aid by cross-rostering department staff as well as Dallas County EMS providing services and training.
Also, the Board approved the dust control policy which had no changes and the dust control vendor permits. The Board then held a public hearing on the secondary roads 5-year road construction program which will come back in April for the final approval.
Then the Board approved a minor plat for P&C Properties /Civil Engineering Services that creates two lots out of one lot. The Board then approved a time and date of 9:30 a.m. March 29th for the first reading of proposed changes to Chapter 3 establishing county supervisors districts and election precincts.
Additionally, the Board approved 10 a.m March 29th for a public hearing on the Apple Raccoon River Valley Trail temporary construction easement and 10:30 a.m. March 29th for the City of Waukee Raccoon River Valley Trail utility easement public hearing.
Finally, the Board approved a Nationwide cleaning contract addendum which includes a price increase for including the E911 office space and Des Moines Area Community College classroom. The Board also held a public hearing on a rezone for Nick Williams/Wally Pelds to rezone land from agricultural to planned unit development which was approved.
