Wrestling website IAWrestle has released its final All-Class high school rankings. Greene County juniors Kale Petersen and McKinley Robbins both show up in the top five in the weight classes they were in for the 2021-22 season. There are three classes of high school wrestling in Iowa according to school size. This list is IAWrestle’s attempt at ranking individuals as if there was just one class of competition.

Petersen is ranked third at 120 lbs. and Robbins is ranked fifth at 132 lbs. Petersen is a three-time State place winner and two-time State Champion. He won at 120 in 2A last month for Greene County after winning in 1A for West Fork (Sheffield) in Feb. of 2021 at 106 lbs. Robbins has been in the State finals all three years of high school, all for Greene County. He was second at 106 as a freshman, first at 120 as a sophomore, and second as a junior at 132 lbs.

Both Petersen and Robbins belong to Sebolt Wrestling Academy of Jefferson.
