For the WCV boys soccer team, the long wait is over. The season officially starts today.

However, it isn’t exactly the start to the regular season. They’ll be getting some live action against Atlantic but it is a scrimmage. Here’s what head coach Jon Boss had to say about the scrimmage.

“It’s just an opportunity for our guys to showcase everything we’ve worked on for the last week and half. I’m excited to watch some of our players play who haven’t played high school soccer before. We also have some first year players that haven’t gone out for sports in general so, it’ll be good to see them out on the field. And to see everything play out and be challenged by someone other than ourselves.”

The Wildcats will hit the field at 5pm.
