Representatives from Dallas County schools will be participating in the Iowa High School Music Association Solo & Small Ensemble Festival today. 

For the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn High School, Music Director Becca Cassel says that there will be 30 vocalists who will be performing at the festival when they head to Clarke High School in Osceola today looking for a good rating. 

Perry High School Band Director Blaine Schmidt says there will be one student participating in a vocal solo, oboe solo and violin solo in Olivia Christensen. Also, Vocal Director Jenn Nelson says there will be several students performing solos and duets when they travel to Atlantic High School. 

Those who are participating will be looking to receive a Superior rating when they participate in the competition.
