There are multiple finalists for awards with the Perry Chamber of Commerce and the winners will be announced in April.
Perry Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti says the two annual awards are the Spirit of Perry Business of the Year award and the Jack Finneseth Memorial Volunteer of the Year award. Pasutti talks about the finalists.
“We had a number of great nominations come in this year as always so we do have three finalists and then at the annual dinner we will actually announce the winners.”
Pasutti says for the business of the year finalists these include Backwards Boutique, Tin Pig Tavern and Perry Lutheran Homes. As for the volunteer of the year award the finalists include Lois and Lou Hoger, Larry Vodenik and Reverend Andrea Brownlee.
“We did have other nominations but those were our finalists that were chosen by the committee. So, of those three each one of them will be getting an award and the annual dinner.”
The Annual Chamber Dinner will take place beginning at 5:30 p.m. April 5th at La Poste in Perry.
