Adair-Casey/Guthrie girls and boys track and field teams will not weather the conditions as the outdoor meet in Jefferson has been canceled.

Head Girls Track and Field Coach Colin Shawgo says they’re still excited to get their outdoor season going and see improvement from their athletes.

“So with the extra turns causing slow downs with that weird distance causing slow downs, I think we will see right off the bat just a huge improvement for all the girls that competed at the indoor meet to the first outdoor meet because the 400 meter track is much more normal and we will be able to pace ourselves better, fewer turns all that stuff so were really excited to see how much growth the girls can have.”

The Greene County High School track and field meet has been canceled due to anticipated temperatures/wind chill factors  this evening.
