The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn School Board will meet Monday night.

The Board will hold a public hearing on the 2023 fiscal year budget and then will consider approving the budget following the hearing. Additionally, the Board will consider for approval a resolution to appoint the paying agent, bond registrar and transfer agent agreement, the tax exemption certificate, the issuance of bonds, and continuing the disclosure certificate. They will also set a public hearing for an amendment to the current fiscal year budget, a facility master plan, the 2022-23 school year staff additions, as well as the collective bargaining agreement with the ADM Education Association.

Next, the Board will hold a public hearing on the school calendar for next year, the district’s Iowa Communities Assurance Pool (ICAP) and set another public hearing for conveyance of real property. Finally, the Board will go into closed session to discuss non-bargaining employees and then come back into open session to take action on those positions. 

The meeting will take place at 6pm at the District Board Room in Adel.
