Panorama boys and girls soccer were both on the field on Friday night, with the boys and girls playing Harlan in Panora. For the girls team, they were able to win their open opener with a great defensive effort winning by the score of 1-0, while the boys couldn’t stop the tough attack of Harlan falling 4-1.

The girls were absolutely tremendous throughout the evening, especially on the defensive side of the ball as they were able to keep Harlan at bay all night long. This is the third time that the two teams have met since 2019, and Panorama has been able to win all three of the events, this match being the closest of the three.

The boys tried to keep up with Harlan, but the Cyclones were able to pick up their first victory of the season and put up a season high in goals as well.

The girls will have their next game on Monday when they hit the road to take on Greene County in Jefferson while the boys are scheduled to have their next event in over a week when they take on Logan-Magnolia in Panora.
